AlphaGraphics aren’t an ‘everyday’ printer. We’re more of an ‘every aspect’ print business. To that end we thought we’d give you a guided tour as to just one part of an incredibly versatile company – our graphic installations.
We’ve been producing large format print for many years, having repeatedly invested in the latest print technology and CAD finishing, it’s an area of the business that’s continually growing. But much of what we produce needs to be installed, applied or fitted somewhere, sometimes temporarily, often permanently. Yes – We do all that too!
As we approach the end of the year, the sales team were always going to push the Large Format production team to the limit, but the consequence of that has been a monumental effort from the installation team to get all the graphics installed before the year ends.
Our flexible team have managed to get themselves all over the North East recently, applying wall-coverings and signs in Durham, plus numerous interior and exterior signs, window graphics and wall-coverings around Newcastle, Gateshead and Boldon. One Saturday morning they even took themselves off to Harrogate to install an exhibition, then spent the following weekend in Nottingham re-branding and refurbishing a 3 floor office block.
In between there have been a few small projects around Teesside and some signs in York, before spending the last couple of days re-branding a number of Building Society branches in the North West and running up to Edinburgh to spruce-up a call-centre.
Much of this work was designed by us, but all was produced by us at our new Large Format facility at One, Vanguard Court on the Preston Farm Estate in Stockton. This is where we plan promotional campaigns, create smart solutions for client’s needs and where the installation team talk through the surveys they’ve carried-out, the nature of the environment into which the graphics will be situated and we determine the best material for each and every application.
It’s not just getting ink on paper. We get it on the wall, the floor, the fence, the side of the road, the windows, the vehicle, the chiller unit, the exhibition stand, the doors, the retail display…
